WELLS WIN HILO         Wells Golf Club won the hilo foursomes championships at Worlebury         Simon Lord, Graeme Dowden, Mark Wintersgill, Adrian Lawrence, Alan Todd, Glen Crocker, Mike Metcalfe, Steve Linter, Mark Western & Simon Jackson were the team from Wells returning 133 points (best 4 from 5)    Saltford were second (125) & Clevedon third (124)              D. McGovern & N Griffiths (Clevedon) won the best pairs cup scoring 38 points having a better countback than A. Leonard & R. Palmer (The Park).  M. White & P. McMenamin   (Thornbury)  were third with 36.                                                                                                                       The course was in good condition & Chairman Richard Bennett thanked Worlebury G.C. for their hospitality etc
