Details of the event are as follows:- The cost of the buffet for your team was included in the annual subscription, but additional buffets can be arranged at a cost of £10 per person and MUST only be booked through the League Secretary.

RULES:
LEAGUE FINALS DAY COMPETITION IS: 18 HOLE FOURSOMES MEDAL
Each club may enter one team of five pairs
TO QUALIFY FOR THE EVENT
a) Category one players MUST have played a minimum of three league matches for their club during the current season. b) Players in all other categories must have played at least one league match for their club during the current season.
Handicap allowance 1/2 combined.
For each team prize Gross and Nett the aggregate of four cards to count. In the event of a tie the fifth card will decide.
Teams will compete for the AVON Cup - Gross and the SEVERN Cup - Nett. NB: Team Cups will be awarded according to the scores returned. However, no team may win more than 1 cup or prize. These will be ceded to the next best score.
Starting times commence from 8:15am onwards and are allocated and MUST be adhered to. Late arrivals may be subject to disqualification.
The Optional Sweep is £20 per team. (CASH ONLY - CHEQUES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED)
The first pair of each team shell pay the sweep for all their team, or if not paid shell be deemed not to have entered.
Will Mendip Spring G.C and Saltford G.C holders of the Gross and Nett Cups respectively please make sure they are brought to the FINALS, DULY ENGRAVED.
Also will the individuals holding the John Rees and John Ireland Cups, please return them to the FINALS, DULY ENGRAVED.
PRIZE GIVING & BUFFET
The prize giving will take place once the final match result has been handed in and the results checked. This is expected to be at approximately 7:30pm. Players must partake of the buffet immediately after completion of their round or before if playing later.
PLEASE do not attempt to make arrangements for buffets through Chipping Sodbury Golf Club direct, only via the League Secretary.
The closing date for booking buffets is Saturday 3rd September 2011.
Clubs are reminded that they should make courtesy places available for 4 or more Club members of Chipping Sodbury golf club for that date.
Should a club be holding a competition on that date they will do everything possible to allocate 4 places during the period for non - competitors.
Please notify the Secretary or Rep of Chipping Sodbury golf club of the arrangements you have made.
Will the following clubs please ensure that ALL Cups held for the 2010 season are returned DULY ENGRAVED with their name ready for presentation to the 2011 winners.
