ANNUAL FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIP – 2008 at Tall Pines Sat 10th May

To All Club Secretaries, I am enclosing details of the League Championship being held at Tall Pines Golf Club on Saturday 10th May 2008. Details of the event, together with the starting times for each of your five teams are enclosed. The cost of the buffet for your teams was included in the annual subscription, but additional buffets can be arranged as per the attached form at £10 per person. On this day members of Tall Pines Golf Club may wish to play on other courses whilst their own is closed. It would be appreciated if Clubs could arrange courtesy places for them. Please deal direct with Tall Pines Golf Club in this respect. Finally, we sincerely hope that we can count on your full support at the Championship and the prize giving in the evening. The Committee wishes to record its appreciation to Tall Pines Golf Club, its Committee, and Members for hosting the event.

ANNUAL FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIP – 18 HOLES FOURSOME STABLEFORD COMPETITION TO BE HELD AT TALL PINES GOLF CLUB ON SATURDAY 10th MAY 2008

1) Each Club may enter one team of five pairs. Each pair will comprise a low/high handicap as follows: LOW – MAXIMUM 10 HANDICAP - HIGH – 11/21 HANDICAP 2) For each team prize the aggregate of four cards to count. In the event of a tie the fifth card to decide. 3) Team and individual pairs will be competing for: (a) Team Championship – The Annual Foursomes Trophy. (b) Pairs Championship - The Annual Pairs Trophy.

Optional Sweep is £20 per team. (CASH ONLY – CHEQUES NOT ACCEPTABLE) The first pair of each team shall pay the sweep for all their team, or, if not, shall be deemed not to have entered (see Minutes of 1984 AGM.) Starting times commence from 8:15am onwards and are allocated and must be adhered to. Late arrivals may be subject to disqualification. PRIZE GIVING AND BUFFET The prize giving will take place once the final match result has been handed in and the results checked. This is expected to be at appr. 7:30pm. Players must partake of the buffet immediately after completion of their round. Please do not attempt to make arrangements for buffets through Tall Pines Golf Club direct, only via the League Secretary. THE CLOSING DATE FOR THE BOOKING OF BUFFETS IS SATURDAY 3rd May 2008 TALL PINES GOLF CLUB RULES WILL APPLY
